Off I Go To The Recycle Center

This is Day 6.
It is also the first time in my life I have been to a recycle center! I went to the one at Ikano Power Centre, Petaling Jaya. Visit their website here for what can and cannot be recycled.

I brought my old magazines and some boxes.
It's located on the carpark at Level P1. Once you get into the carpark, you will see "Ikano Recycling Centre" emblazoned on the wall. Just follow the arrow. I found an empty shopping cart at the entrance to the centre, which came in handy. I also bumped into the garbage guy at the same place, who kind of mumbled to me that if I sold my junk to him, he'd pay me 20 sen per kg. I presume the recycling centre paid less, but politely declined. He gave me the once-over and waved me across the narrow alleyway. As I walked away, he called after me again, "I buy from you, 20 sen ok?" I nodded and gave him the thumbs up. Next time, Uncle!
Ah, here I was, safe at the recycling centre. Recycling uncle took my stuff and put everything on this weigh.
23 kg! Good thing I had the cart.
The place separates aluminium, tin, paper, plastic and cardboard.
 Here's the price list.
When I emptied my stuff into the bins, I actually felt a little twinge. I almost wanted to take everything back and say I changed my mind. Can you believe me? I can't believe myself! I have separation anxiety from my STUFF? So with every modicum of self-control, I walked to the cash register and waited for my payment, all RM3.40 of it. That'll go into the charity fund as well.

Now excuse me while I go and recover from this traumatic experience.
